This collection brings together 202 classic Military, Patriotic and large-format Chest/Back Piece designs, digitally scanned directly from original acetate stencils preserved in the Tahiti Felix archives.

Many of these designs come from an era when tattooing and the military went hand in hand. Sailors, soldiers and Marines came into tattoo shops looking for eagles, flags, ships, anchors, patriotic designs and tattoos that marked where they had been, what they had done and who they served with.

These are digital scans taken directly from the actual original acetates, never photocopies.

Each image has been carefully cleaned up and converted into an easy-to-use Procreate brush/stamp, putting a genuine piece of old-school tattoo history right at your fingertips.
